	Who can enter?

	British Fencing Association rules dictate that you must be at least 13 years of age on 1 January 2011 and a full individual member of British Fencing or your own national association to fence in open competitions. This is for insurance reasons, so membership cards will be checked at the event. Membership will be available on the day if required - please arrive in good time to sort this out when checking in. 	We aim to start all events 30 minutes after the check-in closes. Note that it may not be possible to accommodate late arivals, except in the plate competitions.

	There will be a consolation event for fencers eliminated prior to the direct elimination. This may well involve a mixed event in the Sabre.
